Once your world becomes divided by an ocean of illness plans must be made as miracles do not come about by hoping, but by finding strength in your own actions to make life changing decisions that will be the most difficult you will make. Often we think we are not up for the task, but life’s challenges will prove you to be the super person you may not have thought you were. Michele takes you through the early, middle and late stages including memory care and after entering memory care. Her journey and her mistakes are shared openly to help the reader move forward in their efforts of feeling paralyzed in dealing with this relentless illness.
WHO IS THE AUTHOR
Michele has a doctorate degree from Western State University, College of Law. She believes in giving back and has been involved with the Red Cross, Mother’s Against Drunk Driving along with many other volunteer duties. She has been involved in the arts and California Missions for many years. She shifted her interest after her husband’s dementia diagnosis. She vowed to learn as much about this relentless illness as possible. She became a State Certified Ombudsman allowing her a window into the world of dementia/Alzheimer’s disease by extensive training and visiting long term care facilities and meeting with other families who share this illness.
